A successful two-day Program Launch Workshop was held at Ukinga Hill, Tunduma (Songwe Region) under the initiative "Capacity Development of Youth-led and Girls/Women-led Civil Society Organizations." The workshop brought together FCS leadership, UNICEF, the Regional Community Development Officer, and partner organizations. IRDO was proud to be among the nine selected organizations participating in this important capacity-building initiative. Through this workshop, IRDO strengthened its strategic planning, organizational capacity, accountability, partnerships, collaboration skills, and commitment to delivering impactful programs for children and adolescents.
Day One focused on the project overview, coordination, expectations, timelines, deliverables, and managing CSO relationships. The sessions laid a strong foundation for effective collaboration and sustainable impact in improving the lives of children and adolescents.
Day Two involved course overviews, interactive discussions, and shared learning sessions. Participants discussed the program roadmap and identified practical approaches for strengthening Civil Society Organizations to better serve children and adolescents in their communities.
